We are currently preparing 20 bulls for the upcoming Rockhampton Brahman Week sale on 3, 4, & 5 October. We are very excited with this years bulls, and believe that they are possibly the best draft that we have ever offered for sale. Drawn early in the sale at Lots 39 – 58, the draft includes many top sire prospects, as well as bulls for the commercial breeder looking for growth for age and top carcase qualities.
Sirelines include breed stalwart Tartrus Redmount, the now deceased Palmvale Absolute Sting, the $60000 Kandoona Big John and his three quarter brother Ukraine. Damlines feature heavily with our Miss Pablo line, as well as the powerful Miss Regal and Miss Prince matrons. We also offer an outstanding sire prospect out of the much decorated show cow Glengarry Joletta.
We have prepared our bulls with paddock conditioning and fertility in mind, sending them to Baralaba on agistment after weaning, then hand feeding them with grain and forage and grass hay since April this year. Aged predominately 26 to 32 months at sale time,we are confident that these bulls are ready, willing and able to go out and do the job.
We will be holding a Bull Walk at “Mt Slopeaway” Marlborough on Saturday 10th September and encourage all past and new clients to join us on that day, or any other time that is convenient, to inspect both our Brahman Week and Beef Country sale bulls. Our gates are always open and we would be happy to show you what we have to offer.
Kind regards
Kearin, Beth and Remy Streeter
